I taught my parents and brother about prime factorization. At the dinner table. The nerdiest part was that they were totally interested and we talked about it for awhile.

I say that all of us with Twitter accounts post up something like the following for this FOLLOW FRIDAY trash:

This fool tweets with a lisp and is generally the most fun special needs person I have come across since Forest Gump. FF @Igor_NH

Perhaps it will get that lisping-assed Igor to tweet more.

I spent time last night and at lunch seriously considering making a post on a forum that is so lengthy it looks like it will have to be carved into five installments. pale
Not sure how I feel about that, except a bit guilty ("road hog!"). pig

I'm not a blogger. Oddly, though, I don't think I would post this particular set of thoughts in a blog. I say oddly because it is weird to think of something as being too personal for a blog but not too personal for a forum. Shocked

David Lynch asked the twitterverse what we're going to up to on the weekend. I told him recording a podcast and included a link to the Lynch episode.

Didn't have any lessons so I sat around the 6th form common room watching Six Feet Under and The Wire. That was cool, and then at lunch I went into town with some mates. They all went into the chippy, which was crowded, and because I didn't have any money I stayed outside, only to be confronted by a load of youths from the area who insisted that I was Withnail. This is probably because I tend to swagger about with an air of the dramatic, like an absolute pisshead if i'm honest, plus I have a vaguely Moddy jacket that could maybe make me look like a Withnail sort of gent. Anyways they kept annoying me, so I just told the fat one of the three that I was going to cut off his head, because I don't like his head. they didn't get the reference, but they fucked off regardless.

Not done today, but probably the nerdiest thing we did whatever day this was. Taken off my camera today.

Rather than being appropriately disturbed by Jakob's pic above I just keep thinking that UFP banner is sweet! Cool

I've been researching song lyrics and scripts for various Puff The Magic Dragon cartoons.....and I'm not sure why!

"Can you bake a cherry pie, very long, very long
Can you bake a cherry pie, Very Long John!"

"I can bake a cherry pie, quick as a cat can wink it's eye
Pumpkin, peach and a half a dozen others!"

The nerdiest thing I did today easily was allowing myself to be shit talked by the part of my breakfast I left on the counter. But I caught up with him in the end. At 6:52 apparently.

In Canada, the appliances are bilingual. I never really noticed that before, just took it for granted.

Oh. I get it now! I'd say that's the scariest banana I've ever seen, but I think this guy steals that title...or, wait? Is that scariest or most annoying...I forget...

Geekiest thing I've done today was try to explain the tale of Jakob's banana to Ro on a different thread....only to open this one and see the words "oh! I get it now!"

Doesn't feel nerdy, but I've spent a huge chunk of this day listening to the Suzie Plakson CD. I suppose the geekery comes in when a friend asks how I first heard the CD. "Well, on this Sci Fi podcast..."

Another plug for Starbase 66.

I looked at the length field from all my downloaded and purchased copies of Movies You Should See episodes.
My finding is consistent with the work of Dr. Ruth Westheimer: Size doesn't matter!
