Surely it would be a dirty jam jar of moonshine! (or is it a jelly jar in Canada?)

Jam jar is the term. Though it's clearly a pickle jar. A jam jar would only get you half-cut.

The image in my head can only be described as Taxi Driver meets Hot Fuzz.

Oops, guess I had the wrong thread. Perhaps I have some guilt for toeing the line of good (?) taste. Then again, I would not be surprised if the Administrators of this site chose to prune such questionable punnery, in fact, I'd support it. We nerdlings can get out of control from time to time....Nerd On!

Added categories to many many SimpSyn wiki pages just so they all appear on a nice alphabetical list. Then created this page.

Today I opened my computer and fixed it!! I know nothing about computers, but called an imaginary friend. He diagnosed in about 30 seconds that the network card was playing up. he explained what it looked like and everything. I opened it up and found a cable that wasn't quite pushed on properly. I'm becoming a computer geek!!....................................................almost

Not exactly today (or even yesterday) but on Sunday I met up with members of the Sherlock Holmes Society of London and we got in a coach from 1947 and drove over to Minstead. At Minstead we held a short remembrance service and laid a reef at the grave of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Smile

That depends on what you do with it. Are you using it strictly for educational purposes, or do you also spend time on social sites where you discuss and lovingly gush over such cultural forces as Harry Potter? cyclops

Yeah, with computers, to be nerdy these days you need to build a PC from top quality component parts and run Linux on it.
