Problem at hand: world needs domination.
Way to solve it: dominate the world yourself.
Solution: wacky science-based madness.

It's obviously Pinky and the Brain, dude.

The Brain is definitely one of my idols. Not so much for his world dominationiness as his sarcastic bitchiness.

Speaking of MacGuyver. Daniel Jackson from Stargate. He was a funny nerd. Very witty indeed. Smile

I'd have to go with Bill Nye the science guy, kind of a entry level into science nerdiness. He'd be all like "come over here kids there's cool science experiments and spoof songs" and you end up accidentally learning stuff, that's the trap. Classic episodes are the volcanoes episode (TLC spoof "Don't go chasing lavaflows") and some kind of a storm episode I just remember the superhero EL NINO! and EL NINA! creating havoc and hilarity at every turn

I was always a fan of Bill Nye, and used to watch his show all the time. Not being a science teacher I hadn't seen an episode in years. Last year I was covering a colleagues science class and we were watching Bill Nye. I was prepared to love it still. I was not however prepared for the surge of lust that coursed though my body. Whoa, Bill Nye... who knew!?!?!?

I hate Bill Nye. I don't actually think I've ever seen any of his stuff, but it pisses me off when I'm waxing lyrical about Bill Nighy and people think I mean Bill Nye.

Underworld would have been very different with Bill Nye in it.

Tim I agree with completely, but Daisy was always trying too hard to be cool. Tim revelled in his nerdness, doing the cultural exchanges with Brian and stuff. Daisy was a reluctant nerd.

Now that Netflix in America has both 1967 and 1968 series of The Avengers on streaming video, it occurs to me that John Steed is a bit of a nerd hero. I much prefer him to MacGuyver.

I could just as easily pick Emma Peel, but (and maybe I should be ashamed of this) ... I enjoy 1968 as much as 1967. That's not to say Tara King is worthy of zipping up Mrs. Peel's catsuit -- she's not -- but her first season is a winner in my book.
I love you

I don't think I've ever come across a bigger nerd than Adric.

Exactement! He was the Doctor's assistant. He joined with the fourth doctor and continued through with the fifth. A mathematical genius with a star shaped badge to prove his intellect. A petulant, teenage arrogance to match. He was pretty much universally loathed by fans. His exit from the show was good though. One of the best.
