We at Nerd Hurdles run a pretty lax ship. But don't think you can run roughshod over your fellow forum members. We will drop the freakin' hammer on your ass. A few things are not tolerated:

Racism
Homophobia
Spamming
Being a dick
Bullying and hate mongering
Posting pornographic material
Being a knobhead
Not using proper grammar, punctuation, capitalization and spelling
Use of the word 'nurdle' or variations thereof
General douchebaggery and not playing nicery

We reserve the right to decided when and if someone has erred in one of the above ways. If someone's behaviour offends you, let a moderator know. We'll probably agree, but we're pretty moderate in our moderating philosophy and will let you know when you need to grow a set because someone said something mean about your fave fandom. We'll be nice about it though.

Other than the above, pretty much all else (unless we decide to add it to the list) is fair game. Swear, cuss, be as NSFW as you want to be. Nerd Hurdles takes no responsibility for anyone getting fired for using this forum.

I was once told that being a dick is to imitate Dick Cheney while being a knobhead is to be the head and raw leader of a brainless attacking stick and a couple of douchebags. At least that's what I think he said.

A "dick" is is a prick who is forcibly offensive, ramming his/her opinions down your throat. A "knobhead" is ignorantly oblivious to how the back-spray of his/her verbal explusions are negatively affecting people.
