There's a page for this on the blog site (http://nerdhurdles.wordpress.com/the-geektionary) where you can submit your "nerd werds" but I thought it would make a good thread. Submit your dorktations and nerdenclatures here!

Defenestration:
1. Being thrown through a window
2. Being thrown through a window while sitting in a chair (if you're really anal about supposedly actual definitions)
3. A word, used in a sentence, worth 1 beer.
4. A word, later used in attempts at irony.
5. A vital plot point for a character on the television program Lost.
6. One hell of a good word.

Re: Geektionary
I saw the band Storyhill last Saturday, and they have a song called "The Ballad of Joe Snowboard", about a rich kid slacker whose only goal in life is to party, weasel out on any responsibility, and to hit the slopes. Great song, btw. Anyway, the band introduced the song by calling "Joe Snowboard" a TRUSTIFARIAN. As in, kid who lives off of the trust fund his parents set up for him/her. I thought that was pretty funny, and too true.
