Hayden_Bloom wrote:Lupiny- the best adjective I have ever heard. I actually consider Order of the Phoenix to be the weakest. Its so pretentious and political. I like Prisoner of Azkaban the best. I think that book builds up tension almost perfectly to get to the fantastic last act. That book is probably the most low key and melancholy as well, actually just thinking about makes me wanna give it a reread.

I do agree with you on OOTP but I think it marks a turning point with the plot.
And I like Harry's CAPS LOCK ANGST Razz
If you forced me to pick a favourite, you couldn't. It'd be a four way tie between OOTP (The Snape's worst memory chapter only just swings it for me, So much awesome fanfic wouldn't have been possible without it), Azkaban, so very very Lupiny tongue totally agree with what you said on the plotting, probably the best written one out of all of them, HBP, so very very Snapey, and GOF, I just like that one Smile

I suppose I could narrow it down to HPB and POA for my favourites, but refure to pick between those two

I think the final development with Snapes character was beautifully done, despite being a bit predictable, I thought that It summed up Harry's relationship with Snape with far more subtlety than I would nnormally attribute with Rowling.
Lols on the CAPS LOCK ANGST.

The last Snapey bit in Deathly Hallows KILLED ME. KIIILLED ME!

It was a mistake to read the last 100 or so pages of that all together. I creid so much, I acctually no fluids left by the end of the book.
And I haven't read it again since Razz

I read that book in six hours. I got it, then told my Mum I was going into my room and wouldn't be out until I was finished. I read it again the next day, and haven't touched any of the series since.

I reread at least one of them once or twice or three times a year
And then there's all the fanfic...
*Sighs* I couldn't be geekier if I tried...

Yeah, I'd say being turned off by Snarry has nothing to do with it being too nerdy. Spin off show? Perv Hurdles? Maybe that can be an episode.

This is true for me also. I was in a hostel in France and I cried in the bathroom so I wouldn't wake up my mom. I sobbed my face off. Sad

Jakob's going to read the books?! It's too early to declare victory, but we're one step closer. Just remember, Jakob, power on through the first two even if you aren't too impressed by them. It will all make sense at the end.

I bawled like a baby when I read Deathly Hallows for the first time. I cried AGAIN the second time. In the subsequent five readings, though, I didn't cry Cool.

I think I've read the books too many times for my own good.

I did it in nine hours, straight through. I locked myself in my room for that, and after it was done I lay on my bed thinking for god knows how long.

Without spoiling it for those who haven't read it, was it the needless deaths of certain characters (I think we all know which ones) or the stupidly sentimental ending that got to you?

It was when he walked into the forest. I sort of knew what the outcome would be, what with there being loads of clues beforehand, but I still cried. Shocked It was a weird cry, mixed with emotions of sadness and joy (at Neville being a BAMF, Molly vs. Bellatrix, etc.)

Oh, and I've grown to love the epilogue Razz
